These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Adirondack Corp. (.org) website and your participation in our "Veterans Helping Veterans" pallet recycling and logistics program. By accessing this site or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with these Terms in their entirety. Adirondack Corp., founded in 1991, is a 100% veteran-owned and operated entity. These terms are established to protect our veteran sub-contractors, our donors, and the integrity of our mission.
Service Scope and Regional Operations
Adirondack Corp. provides a logistics portal that facilitates the collection of pallets from donors and their transport to purchasing companies across a 21-county service area. This includes 18 counties in New York (including Suffolk, Nassau, Albany, and Broome) and 3 counties in Pennsylvania (Wayne, Susquehanna, and Pike). All operations are managed through our 12 regional locations, including our corporate headquarters in Hancock, NY.
Veteran Sub-Contractor Requirements
Participation in our mission-based opportunity program is strictly reserved for veterans who meet our safety and legal standards.
Background Verification: You must have a clean motor vehicle abstract for at least 3 years.
Prohibited History: We cannot hire or maintain agreements with veterans who have drug-related charges, DUIs within the last ten years, or domestic/international terrorist charges.
Independent Status: Veterans participating in the transport of pallets do so as sub-contractors and are responsible for their own equipment maintenance and insurance, as outlined in individual sub-contractor agreements.
Pallet Donor and Purchasing Partner Terms
Donations: Pallet donors agree that all materials provided are "slightly used" or "repurposed." Upon pickup, ownership transfers to Adirondack Corp. for recycling purposes.
Purchasers: Companies purchasing pallets from Adirondack Corp. agree to the terms of sale provided at the time of delivery.
Philanthropic Directives: You acknowledge that any profit gained from these logistics services is donated to TINMIS (www.tinmis.com) to support veteran wellness and mental health initiatives.
